Product Description

DEKOR is a synthetic matt transparent wood paint based on alkyd binder, containing transparent pigments, with high penetration power. It extends the life of wooden surfaces, and can be used safely for decorative purposes in interior and exterior spaces with its breathability and fast drying properties. It does not have antimicrobial or impregnating properties.

Expenditure

Depending on the absorbency of the wooden surfaces, 14-20 m² of area can be painted with 1 litre in a single coat.

Application Instructions

1. Old painted wooden surfaces should be sanded with fine sandpaper.
2. Knots on new wood should be burned off and resins removed with cellulosic thinner.
3. If raw wood is not impregnated, it should be impregnated with a suitable product against mold, fungus and worms.
4. DEKOR should be applied in 1-2 coats without diluting, using a brush, roller, sponge or cloth.
5. After 30 minutes of each coat application, any excess that is not absorbed should be wiped off with a lint-free cloth or sponge.

Drying Time

• Touch Dry: 2-4 hours
• Dust Retention: 6-8 hours
• Hard Dry: 24 hours
• Second Coat Application: Can be done after 10-12 hours.

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 5 years in its unopened packaging in a cool, dry environment protected from direct sunlight.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed in its packaging before use until it reaches the appropriate consistency.
• The surface temperature should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.

Security Warnings

• R10: Flammable.
• R20/21/22: Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.
• S2: Keep out of reach of children.
• S3/7/9: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
• S13: Keep away from food and drink.
• S16: Keep away from ignition sources, do not smoke.
• S23: Do not breathe vapour.
• S24/25: Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
• S26: In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
• S46: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container and label.
• S51: Use only in well-ventilated areas.
• S56: Do not dispose of in the environment/sewer.
