Product Description

EUROPAX is an alkyd binder based, rust preventive primer. It can be used safely on metal surfaces, railways, steel construction works, marine vehicles and high voltage electricity poles in interior and exterior areas.

Consumption

Depending on surface absorbency:

• With 1 Liter: 11-13 m² of surface can be primed in one coat.

Thinning

It is diluted with 5-10% synthetic thinner by volume.

Application Instructions

1. Raw metal surfaces should be sanded to remove oil, dirt and other contaminants.
2. "Europax" is applied by brush, roller or spray.
3. Two coats should be applied to provide active protection.
4. 6-8 hours should be waited between each application.

Drying Time

• Touch Dry: 3-5 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 5 years in its unopened original packaging, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and frost.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed until it reaches the appropriate consistency before use.
• The surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• To provide protection on the metal surface, a final coat of paint should be applied after "Europax".
