Product Description

HYBRID PRIMER is a pure acrylic emulsion binder based, pigmented, high adherence strength exterior primer. It has been developed especially for surfaces where "Hybrid" paint will be applied and can be used safely on mineral surfaces such as concrete, plaster, brick and exposed concrete. It reduces paint consumption and creates a strong bridge between the surface and the final coat of paint.

Consumption

Depending on surface absorbency:

• With 1 Liter: 12-14 m² of surface can be primed.

For exact consumption, it is recommended to apply on the surface.

Thinning

It is diluted with 10-20% water by volume.

Application Instructions

1. The application surface must be solid, clean, dry and dust-free.
2. A texture that the paint can adhere to should be created on glassy and shiny surfaces.
3. Necessary areas should be puttyed with "Eurosilex Putty".
4. On weak and absorbent surfaces, first "Binder" and then "Hybrid Primer" should be applied.
5. The primer is applied in a single coat by brush, roller or spray.
6. The final coat of paint should be applied at least 6-8 hours after priming.

Drying Time

• Drying Time: 6-8 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 3 years in its unopened original packaging, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and frost.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed until it reaches the appropriate consistency before use.
• The surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Application should not be made in strong winds or in direct sunlight on very hot days.
• On newly plastered surfaces, at least 4 weeks must be waited for the plaster to dry before applying primer.
• Precautions should be taken considering the possibility of rain after application.
