OTTOMAN COVERING PRIMER

White Interior Primer

White interior primer that creates a strong bridge before the final coat of paint and reduces paint consumption.

Product Description

OTTOMAN COVERING PRIMER is a white interior primer with high adhesion strength, based on acrylic copolymer emulsion binder. It can be used safely as a primer before the final coat application on raw plaster, concrete, brute concrete, aerated concrete, brick and mineral surfaces.

Expenditure

Depending on surface absorbency and smoothness:

  • With 1 Liter: 10-12 m² of surface can be primed.

For exact consumption, it is recommended to apply on the surface.

Thinning

It is diluted with 10-20% water by volume.

Application Instructions

  1. The application surface must be solid, clean, dry and dust-free.
  2. A texture that the paint can adhere to should be created on glassy and shiny surfaces.
  3. On satin plastered, weak and dusty surfaces, first the concentrated primer and then the covering primer should be applied.
  4. The primer is applied as a single coat by brush, roller or spraying.
  5. The final coat of paint should be applied at least 6-8 hours after priming.

  • Drying Time: 6-8 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 3 years in its unopened original packaging, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and frost.

Things to Consider

  • It should be mixed until it reaches the appropriate consistency before use.
  • The surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
  • On newly plastered surfaces, at least 4 weeks must be waited for the plaster to dry before applying primer.
