OTTOMAN SILICONE EXTERIOR COATING is an acrylic copolymer emulsion binder based, silicone based, finely patterned (grained) and final matte exterior coating. With its high UV resistance, it can be used safely on plaster, concrete, brute concrete, aerated concrete, brick and all mineral surfaces on the exteriors of buildings.

Expenditure

Depending on the surface smoothness:

• With 1 kg: 0.7 - 1.1 m² of surface can be covered.

For exact consumption, it is recommended to apply on the surface.

Thinning

It is ready to use, if necessary it can be diluted with water at a maximum of 5% by weight.

Application Instructions

1. The application surface must be solid, clean, dry and dust-free.
2. Necessary areas should be corrected with "Exterior Putty".
3. Glassy and shiny surfaces must be sanded to ensure the coating adheres.
4. Raw surfaces should be primed with "Exterior Primer".
5. On weak, absorbent and old painted surfaces, first "Concentrated Primer" and then "Exterior Primer" should be applied.
6. The coating is applied in a single layer with a roller suitable for the desired pattern, at least 24 hours after priming.

Drying Time

• Hard Dry: 24 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 3 years in its unopened original packaging, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and frost.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed until it reaches the appropriate consistency before use.
• The surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Application should not be made in strong winds or in direct sunlight on very hot days.
• On newly plastered surfaces, at least 4 weeks must be waited for the plaster to dry before application.
