Product Description

PRIMER is a high quality synthetic matt primer based on alkyd binder with high covering power. It is used safely on wood and metal surfaces to ensure that the final coat of paint adheres strongly to the surface.

Expenditure

1 litre can be used to prime 11-13 m² of surface in a single coat. Consumption depends on the surface and application method.

Application Instructions

1. The surface to be applied must be cleaned from oil, rust and swollen residue.
2. Old painted wooden surfaces should be sanded with fine sandpaper.
3. Correct the necessary areas with "Ishakol Paint Paste".
4. Burn knots on new wood and remove resins with cellulosic thinner.
5. If the surface is not impregnated, saturate it with "Decor".
6. Use "Europax" after cleaning on metal surfaces.
7. Apply the primer by brush, roller or spray. It is recommended to dilute it with 5-10% synthetic thinner.

Drying Time

• Touch Dry: 2 hours
• Dust-free drying time: 4-6 hours
• Hard Dry: 8-10 hours
• Final Coat Application: Can be done after 24 hours.

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 5 years in its unopened packaging in a cool, dry environment protected from direct sunlight.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed in its packaging before use until it reaches the appropriate consistency.
• The surface temperature should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Glassy surfaces must be sanded in order for the paint to adhere.
