Product Description

SONKAT UNIVERSAL is a pure acrylic binder based, water based paint that can be applied to all types of surfaces, provides excellent covering, and has high UV resistance. It is safely used for decorative and protective purposes on surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, ceramic, plastic, wall and stone. It is also ideal for hobby applications and renewal of old surfaces.

Expenditure

Depending on surface absorbency and smoothness:

• With 1 Liter: 16-20 m² of surface can be painted.

For exact consumption, it is recommended to apply on the surface.

Thinning

It is diluted with 5-10% water for brush and roller applications, and 10-15% with water for spray gun applications.

Application Instructions

1. Oil, rust and swollen residues should be cleaned from old painted surfaces.
2. New surfaces should be prepared with fine sandpaper and cleaning materials.
3. Metal surfaces that may rust should be primed with "Europax" and sanded.
4. Paint is applied in at least 2 coats using a brush, roller or sprayer.
5. Wait at least 2 hours between coats.

Drying Time

• Touch Dry: 1-2 hours
• Hard Dry: 24 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

It can be stored for 2 years in its unopened original packaging, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and frost.

Things to Consider

• It should be mixed until it reaches the appropriate consistency before use.
• The surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C and +30 °C.
